We are pleased to be working with a globally successful animal health business in helping to recruit a National Sales Manager to cover their large animal business unit. This role will give excellent exposure within a well-connected European business. Offering a high ceiling to a candidate with established relationships at key account level within large animal health (predominantly cattle).


This role is focused on key account management as a priority. The incoming candidate can have a background as a team sales manager, but must have industry-specific relationships at the top level. This position would be appropriate for a highly experienced and successful key account manager who is looking to take a step up into team management, or could be appealing to an experienced National Sales Manager who is looking to lean into having a more senior influence across the business as a whole.


Role Responsibilities:

  • Manage key accounts across the large animal sector. Primarily focused on cattle - Corporate Veterinary and Trade accounts.
  • Management responsibilities for a field-based sales team.
  • Spending time in the field with your team and customers.
  • Develop an ongoing dialogue with the board around new product introductions and resource planning.
  • Develop new account relationships at the senior level with clients across veterinary and trade.

  • Highly personable, possessing excellent people skills.
  • Strong relationships within corporate veterinary or trade accounts are a non-negotiable requirement.
