Job Title: Veterinary Account Manager
Location: South UK (Remote / Field-Based)
About the Role
Are you looking to join an innovative and fast-growing organisation within the animal health sector? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Account Manager responsible for driving the adoption and sales of advanced veterinary products across the market.
In this role, you will play a key part in developing strong relationships with veterinary professionals, delivering product demonstrations and training, and managing the full sales cycle, from initial prospecting through to long-term customer success.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop a defined UK territory, identifying and prioritising new and existing sales opportunities.
- Oversee the full sales pipeline, from prospecting and engagement through to closing deals and providing post-sale support.
- Build strong relationships with veterinarians, specialists, clinical directors, and corporate stakeholders.
- Deliver product demonstrations, introductions, and practice trials, ensuring clear objectives and strong conversion to sales.
- Provide in-practice training and ongoing customer support, including structured follow-ups to ensure successful product adoption.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, including account segmentation, forecasting, and reporting, while working closely with internal teams on billing, logistics, and delivery.
- Develop professional networks within the veterinary industry and represent the organisation at regional and national events and exhibitions.
Skills & Experience
- Veterinary, animal science, or a related scientific background.
- Experience or confidence in consultative selling and relationship management.
- Strong organisational, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Experience using or selling medical devices or specialist veterinary equipment is advantageous.
- Existing relationships with corporate veterinary groups, referral centres, or veterinary specialists would be beneficial.
- Highly motivated self-starter with strong commercial drive.
- Enjoys contributing to a high-performance culture focused on collaboration, motivation, and results.
