We are recruiting on behalf of a premier, rapidly expanding dealership for a world-renowned global brand in dairy automation. They are seeking a dedicated Robotic Service Technician to deliver high-spec service and technical support for state-of-the-art Voluntary Milking Systems (VMS) across the South East.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Perform high-quality scheduled servicing, technical diagnostics, and maintenance on advanced robotic milking systems.
• Act as the trusted technical point of contact for local dairy farmers, troubleshooting complex mechanical and electrical issues promptly.
• Plan and manage your day independently, balancing routine service calls with responsive emergency support.
• Participate in a fair after-hours emergency rota to keep farms running seamlessly.
• Work primarily across Carlow, Kilkenny, and surrounding areas, with occasional collaboration alongside team members in neighboring regions.

What We’re Looking For:

• A formal trade qualification (Electrical, Mechanical, or Electro-Mechanical preferred).
• Proven experience in field service, maintenance, or technical fault-finding.
• Strong communication skills in English and a personable, solution-focused mindset.
• A genuine interest in smart technology, modern farming, and livestock welfare.
• High attention to detail, commitment to health & safety, and the confidence to work autonomously.

Remuneration:

• €50,000-€55,000 dependent on experience
• Company van
• Pension
