Territory Sales Manager | North of England

The Opportunity

Noble Futures is pleased to be working with a leading manufacturer of innovative animal health and nutrition products. This is an excellent opportunity to join a business that prides itself on longevity, employee development, and a close-knit team culture.

This role is perfectly positioned for an ambitious sales professional. Whether you are in the early stages of your agricultural sales career and looking to step up into territory management with a path toward Key Account work, or a more seasoned Area Manager looking for a role that offers true autonomy, this position provides the platform to run your territory like your own business unit.

The Role

As the Territory Sales Manager, your primary focus is to grow sales volumes and margins across a diverse portfolio of animal health, nutrition, and hygiene products. You will cover a territory spanning from Lancashire up to the Scottish Borders.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Relationship Management: Maintaining and growing sales by developing strong working relationships with trade/ retail customers.
  • Business Development: Proactively identifying and developing new customer opportunities to expand the current customer base.
  • Strategic Execution: Executing sales campaigns and providing regular market feedback via designated reporting tools.
  • Key Accounts: Managing a small selection of key accounts and supporting key merchants to maximise regional potential.

About You

We are looking for an eager sales professional to take an established territory and elevate it to the next level. While existing relationships are in place, the successful candidate will have the drive to hunt for new growth.

  • Background: Ideally, you will have a strong ruminant background and experience selling into the trade/retail sector. We will also consider individuals with B2C experience who possess the right technical aptitude.
  • Skills: You must be an excellent communicator with strong negotiating skills and the ability to build long-lasting, trust-based relationships.
  • Qualifications: A formal agricultural qualification is desirable, but a deep understanding of agricultural production systems and the current marketplace is essential.
  • Attributes: You should be self-motivated, comfortable working independently, and hold a valid driving licence.

What’s on Offer

Our client is committed to delivering research-proven, innovative solutions that their employees are proud to represent. They offer a supportive environment where you are trusted to manage your own schedule and strategy.

  • Up to £46,000 (DOE)
  • Competitive bonus
  • Company car, 25 days annual leave (plus 8 bank holidays), Employee Assistance Programme, and a company pension.
