Veterinary Sales Specialist – Large Animal (Southwest England - Field Based)

An exciting opportunity to join a small but ambitious and fast-growing business within the large animal veterinary sector. We're on the lookout for a driven, experienced sales professional with a strong background in ruminant health and proven success in developing new business with large animal veterinary practices.

Covering the Southwest of England, you’ll be given full autonomy to manage your territory, grow key accounts, and represent a broad product catalogue to an established and expanding customer base. This role is perfect for a confident self-starter ready to take ownership of a high-potential region and earn uncapped commission based on total sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage your own sales call calendar and territory across the Southwest of England
  • Build and grow strong relationships with large animal vet practices, primarily ruminant-focused
  • Drive new business acquisition and grow existing accounts to maximise revenue
  • Stay on top of clinic ordering and ensure consistent supply and support
  • Represent an extensive product catalogue with the ability to cross-sell
  • Identify and act quickly on new leads and opportunities
  • Provide regular feedback on customer trends, product performance, and opportunities to improve service
  • Be the go-to representative for your veterinary customers in the region

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in the large animal veterinary sector is essential
  • Proven track record in sales, ideally with “hunter” new business development experience
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Organised, self-motivated, and able to work independently
  • Comfortable representing a large and technical product range
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to manage sales performance and ordering
  • Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel extensively across the Southwest
