We are looking to recruit an experienced Business Administrator to join a fast-growing Lancaster based agri-tech innovator with deployments across the UK and Europe and expansion underway.


Location: Lancaster (Hybrid and flexible working options)

Hours: Monday to Friday 37.5 Hours

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000


The Role:

  • Working closely with the CFO and the Accounts Payable and Payroll Clerk, you'll own a broad mix of responsibilities to keep operations running smoothly
  • Purchasing and Stock - Monitor stock levels and lead times, liaise with suppliers to ensure adequate stock levels.
  • Finance Support - Accounts receivable, sending invoices, chasing debts, collating staff commissions, fixed asset / depreciation, monitoring installations and subscriptions.
  • HR & Employee Admin - Holiday register, Processing expenses, general HR administration
  • Fleet & Premises - Manage the paperwork for vehicles, paperwork, insurance, tax, MOTs, Services, mileage, P11D)
  • Digital filing systems and paperwork


The Successful Candidate:

  • Strong Administration and coordination skills
  • Comfortable with finance basics (AR/AP, invoicing, reconciliations)
  • Xero (or similar platform) experience is a benefit
  • Proactive team player comfortable in a small growing business
  • AAT level 3 is desirable but not essential
