  • Prior experience in Warehouse/Logistics desirable - high intensity work flow
  • 5 days a week on-site, early finish on Fridays
  • Flexible hours - 8 hours a day
  • Salary £27,000 - £30,000 DOE

This active role requires an organised, detail-oriented Warehouse Operative to manage daily fulfilment, shipping preparation and receiving processes. You will accurately pick, pack, and label customer and internal orders, prepare required documentation, and inspect incoming shipments for damage or discrepancies. Working closely with the Supply Chain Supervisor you will record all inventory movements in the warehouse management system, assist with cycle counts, and support stock replenishment to maintain high data accuracy. Additionally, you will operate warehouse equipment safely, resolve internal queries regarding shipments and strictly follow safety and PPE guidelines to maintain a clean, organised and secure work environment.


Daily Warehouse Operations:


  • Pick and pack customer and internal orders with high accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Prepare items for shipment, including packaging, labelling, and completing required documentation (no staging).
  • Ensure the timely and correct shipment of goods in line with operational requirements.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment; follow all PPE and safety procedures.
  • Operate warehouse equipment safely (training provided if needed).


Receiving & Inspection:


  • Inspect incoming packages for completeness, accuracy, and visible damage; report discrepancies promptly.
  • Record receipts accurately using warehouse systems.
  • Coordinate with the Supply Chain Supervisor on any damages or shortages.


Inventory Support:


  • Support cycle counts and stock checks to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Assist with stock replenishment and goods movement between locations.
  • Escalate inventory discrepancies and assist with corrective actions.


Data & Documentation:


  • Use warehouse systems to record picks, receipts, and shipments.
  • Complete shipment paperwork and labels to standard.
  • Respond to internal queries related to received or shipped items as required.
