District Sales Manager - Agriculture

Field-Based - Cheshire

Imagine being trusted to run your territory like your own. Working in an industry you're genuinely passionate about, spending your days out on farm and building relationships with farmers across Cheshire.

This is an opportunity to take real ownership of your area. You'll have existing customers to develop, but a big part of the role is getting out there, opening new doors and building a customer base you can be proud of.

And when your territory grows, you'll be rewarded for it.

What will you be doing?

  • Working directly with livestock farmers across Cheshire
  • Managing and developing existing customer relationships
  • Prospecting and winning new business
  • Selling a range of livestock products and herd management solutions
  • Managing your own diary and planning your territory
  • Building your network, knowledge and credibility within the industry

Who we're looking for?

You might already work in agricultural sales, or perhaps you're an agricultural branch manager who knows the industry, deals with farmers every day and is ready for the next step.

We are looking for:

  • 2+ years' sales experience (within agriculture, animal health or a related sector)
  • A strong understanding of agriculture and the livestock industry
  • Someone comfortable and credible walking onto farm
  • A natural ability to build relationships with farmers
  • The drive to prospect and win new customers
  • An ambitious, outgoing and self-motivated personality
  • Someone who enjoys having independence and responsibility

What's in it for you?

This is more than another sales role. It's an opportunity to build your reputation within the livestock industry, develop a strong network of farmers and be recognised and financially rewarded for the growth you create.

  • Up to £45,000 basic salary, dependent on experience
  • Uncapped monthly commission
  • Additional annual commission based on territory growth
  • Company car & fuel card

If you're passionate about agriculture, love working with farmers, and want the freedom to go out and build something for yourself, this could be a brilliant next step.
